Damp walls are common in cellars because the walls are below ground. Provides fresh surface over old worn out or damaged concrete floors. The generally accepted method of actually tanking a surface is to apply a mix of tanking slurry or cement mixed with a rubberised liquid to form a waterproof coating on the inside of the basement or cellar wall. It is used to treat damp walls by preventing water ingress effectively making the walls permanently watertight.
